The Milling machine vice is one of the most popular vices used in workshops, machine shops and shop floor. Apart from use in milling operations, it also got application in jig boring, grinding and shaping jobs. Milling machine vice are manufactured from close grained 20-22 grade cast iron. Vice jaws are made from soft and ground steel which allow the workpiece to be held dead square without use of any packing. This not only improves efficiency and life of jaws but also helps reduce strain on vice body.

Application of Milling Machine Vise ›
Milling machine vice are widely used in workshops, shop floors etc. Used in milling operations, this vice also has application in jig boring, grinding, shaping etc. The 360° swivel base allows the vice to be set at any angle along the vertical axis. The vice is indexed horizontally all through 360°. Vice jaws are precision ground which allows the work piece to be held dead square without use of any packing.
This not only improves the efficiency and life of the jaws, but also helps reduce strain on the vice body.
